Bokashi Primera (effective Micro-organism)
Bokashi is a mixture of organic materials that has been fermented with
Effective Micro-organisms (EMs), molasses and water under anaerobic conditions. The resultant material is a wonderful soil improver, not only because it is nutrient rich but also because the EMs have multiplied and can rapidly combine with the soil to both improve the soil structure and create a disease-suppressing soil.Effective Microorganisms or EM is a combination of useful
regenerative micro-organisms that exist freely in nature and
are not manipulated in any way.
EM are mixed cultures of beneficial naturally-occurring
organisms that can be applied as inoculants to increase the
microbial diversity of soil ecosystem. They consist mainly of
the photosynthesizing bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, yeasts,
actinomycetes and fungi.
This mixture increases the natural resistance of
soil, plants, animals, water, and humans, animals
to diseases. EM considerably improves the
quality and fertility of soil as well as the growth,
yield and quality of crops.
